Jardin de Rosal Pasig

Just a few days ago, I found myself in this motel. I've heard so much about it but I have actually never been here before. As I arrived at around 9PM, I was second in line in the garage rooms. It is quite dark inside and I could tell that they value the privacy of their clients. After 15 minutes of waiting, the roomboy signals at me and lets me enter the garage. I slowly parked my car and had a quick conversation with the roomboy. I took a view around. The first floor is nothing but garage, then you take the stairs to get to the room in the second floor. For the price, the room is actually quite spacious, nice and clean on inspection.

Stairs from the garage to the room.

Garage door from inside.

Top view of stairs.

Their bathroom is also spacious. They have hot and cold shower. They also have slippers for you to use. What they are lacking though are basic toiletries. The only thing they will provide is soap. They don't provide shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrush, so you better have those with you. Personally, that isn't a big deal. They do have a hairdrier though.

Rates.

What is a motel with no free wifi? Surprisingly, the wifi signal where I stayed was strong. And I can detect multiple hotspots. As far as I can remember there were three from where I was. But I cannot vouch for the strength of the signal for the other rooms.

You will also be surprised on the different kinds of discount cards that they accept. Although you have to present them immediately upon arrival.

They accept major credits cards and also Bancnet ATM. That's very convenient. They also offer car transfer to nearby places.

Their menu is actually like that of a decent restaurant and the taste is also at par with the good restaurants around the metro.

They even have a separate menu for Chinese food.

Upon check out, you have to call the operator and tell her that you're now ready to leave. After a few minutes, a roomboy will arrive with your bill. You will pay directly to the roomboy so it's less hassle once again. He actually has change with him so you don't have to worry about that.

He will ask if you're sure that you haven't left anything behind so he'll make a quick search. What he's really doing is inspecting the place for anything missing. It's just their polite way of doing it.

Overall, this place is great. The staff are polite and always mild mannered which will quickly make you feel at ease. The room itself is clean and spacious for the price. Privacy is a priority in this place. I will definitely be back here.

Tip: This is assuming that your vehicle is heavily tinted, not once will your companion be seen by anyone in the establishment in the garage rooms - that is if you take the proper precautions. Upon entering the garage, wait for the roomboy to leave before letting her out of the car. And upon leaving, make sure that she's already in the car before the roomboy arrives with your bill.

Keep wandering!

  1. Hi, thanks for the review.
how would you compare it to Victoria court in Pasig? My partner and I are planning to stay in Rosal for a couple of days before heading off.
I've heard good feedback. Is there any website for Rosal? Thanks!

  2. Sorry for the late reply. If you can shell out the cash for VC, by all means go for it. But if you're on a budget, Rosal will be perfect for you. Room is clean, food is fantastic, and they value your privacy greatly.

  4. Hi, William. Yes it is a drive-in motel and yes you can still check in even if you don't have a car. Just ask a taxi to drive you in and they can call a cab for you when it's time to leave.
